Dudhsagar Waterfall

 

This magnificent waterfall at the Goa-Karnataka border is a sight of pure serenity. Dudhsagar Falls, literally translating to “milk-sea” has been made famous by epic Bollywood movies for its grandeur. Just 60 km from the town of Panaji, you will see a completely unexpected avatar of Goa. The fifth largest waterfall in India, this one is surrounded by lush green forests.

Look forward to: The trek to the bottom of the Dudhsagar falls which takes you closest to the cascade and gives you the best of views.



Harvalem (Arvalem) Waterfall

 

The village of Sanquelim in Goa is one of the most exciting locations because of the Pandava caves and the spectacular Harvalem Waterfall. The waterfall is surrounded by uninterrupted nature and Arvalem rock-cut caves that were featured in Mahabharata. Apart from the picturesque surrounding of the waterfall, this one has a lot of history to it as well.

Sada Waterfall

A treacherous yet tranquil place, Sada Waterfall is a two-hour drive from Panaji but every bit worth it. The charming road trip takes you to a quaint village where the Sada Waterfall is located. A thrilling trek should take you to this massive waterfall which is around 200 ft high and gushing down from between two hillocks.

Look forward to: Trekking through the pure beauty of this extremely untrodden location, as this place is hardly ever visited by the tourists.



Netravali Waterfall

 

Located amidst the dense wildlife sanctuary of Netravali, there is a majestic cascade that aptly compliments the lush greenery of this forest. Netravali or alternatively known as Savari Waterfall is at a distance of 46 km from Margoa city. A two-hour drive and a short trek should take you to these glorious rapids that flow down right amidst the thick forest.

Look forward to: The jungle walk to spot the plethora of wildlife around Netravali and Mainapi waterfall which is just 2 km from the location.

Kuskem Waterfall

 

An exceptional beauty from South Goa, Kuskem Waterfall is a small yet one-of-a-kind waterfall. Gushing down a rocky mountain, Kuskem fall is surrounded by cashew nut plantation and paddy fields that make for a perfect photography spot. The little village of Kuskem and the waterfall also make for an ideal place for family picnics.
